Welcome!
My name is Vorin, and I’m passionate about making knitting accessible to as many people as possible. With a background in both design and education, I develop patterns that are clear, structured, and easy to follow – whether you’re new to knitting or an experienced maker.
Here you’ll find modern and user-friendly knitting patterns in English and Norwegian – created to bring you a sense of accomplishment, joy in the process, and garments you’ll love for years to come.
All patterns are designed by me, with a focus on great fit, clean lines and a combination of modern and timeless expression. My goal is to help you enjoy every step of the process and end up with something you’re proud of.

Sizes: xs-s (m-l)
Width: 9 (11) cm, measured flat
Length: 25 (27) cm, or desired length
Gauge: 22 sts = 10 cm
Needles: 4 mm circular needle (at least 60 cm) for magic loop, or 4 mm double-pointed needles
Yarn: Sandnes alpakka ull or Rauma mitu or Drops karisma or Fonty coeur d’angora or Sandnes cashmere
Yarn amount: You will need a total of two balls to knit a pair of mittens (same for both sizes) — either one of each color or two of the same color (based on the yarn having a yardage of 100m/50g).
The mittens are worked bottom-up in stripes. A contrast thread is knit in where the thumb will be placed; the thumb is then picked up and worked afterwards. Both mitten and thumb are finished with decreases at the top.
The mittens are worked using a single strand of yarn. Feel free to combine different yarn types (this is a perfect scrap-yarn project), but make sure they have approximately the same gauge.
The mittens in the photos (size –S) are knitted in Sandnes Alpakka Ull (Provence Blue and Deep Burgundy).

The Willa Sweater is worked top-down with raglan increases and stripes. Stitches are cast on for the neckline, then the piece is divided using stitch markers. Increases are worked for the sleeves, front, and back. The piece is then divided into three sections, and the sleeves and body are finished separately. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neckline, and a rolled edge is worked in stockinette stitch.
The red and white sweater (size medium ) is worked in Drops Air and Sandnes Sisu.

The Tessa sweater is worked from the top down with raglan increases. You begin by casting on stitches for the neckline, then place stitch markers to divide the work before continuing with increases for the sleeves, front, and back. The work is then divided into three parts, and the sleeves and body are finished separately, each ending with an i-cord edge. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neckline, which is also finished with an i-cord edge.
